Under the slogan “For a new world,” the event takes place at the La Carlota Convention Center in Caracas, Venezuela, with the participation of 2,000 national and international guests from 125 countries, including leaders, youth, workers and peasants, to discuss collective actions in the face of the imposition of neoliberal policies contrary to the sovereignty of peoples.

One of the most prominent proposals is the creation of a literacy brigade, an initiative that aims to advance the educational process already implemented in several countries of the region.

The aim is not only to improve basic literacy, but also to extend the teaching of English and Spanish, two languages that are fundamental in today’s global context, and for which collaboration from other organizations is expected to join efforts.

The participation of various entities will enrich the project and allow more people to benefit from this education. Literacy is a key tool for empowering communities and fostering sustainable development.

Another proposal presented was the creation of a reforestation brigade, focused on repopulating areas that have suffered deforestation to also restore ecosystems and improve the quality of life in affected communities. Reforestation is essential to combat climate change and protect biodiversity.

In addition, the formation of a medical organization brigade was considered. This group will be responsible for conducting vaccination campaigns in the communities, using volunteers prepared through the Bolivarian Alliance.
